TLX8 Black Just Got a Major Upgrade: What You Need to Know
We’re proud to introduce the upgraded TLX8 Black—a smarter, more efficient lighting solution built to meet the demands of superyacht designers, shipyards, and marine installers.
What’s New?
- Cutting length: increased from 35.7mm to 41.7mm
- LED density: optimised from 196 LEDs/m to 168 LEDs/m
This isn’t just a spec tweak—it’s a practical improvement that offers:
- Faster and cleaner installations
- Improved production efficiency = better lead times
- A verified dotless effect—still premium, now more consistent
Why the Change?
After extensive testing, we confirmed that 168 LEDs/m is the ideal density to achieve a seamless dotless light line. The slightly longer cutting interval gives you more freedom in layout and results in less waste—something installers will appreciate.
Phase-Out Notice
The original TLX8 Black (196 LEDs/m, 35.7mm cutting) will be discontinued by September 2025.
