When I was a child, we often sailed on the Loosdrechtse Plassen lakes, and I spent several summers at sailing school at the Kaag. I remember walking on Kaag island with my father next to the Feadship Royal van Lent yard, admiring the amazing superyachts moored outside after their launch. This was my first encounter with these magnificent vessels and I’m delighted to now play my role in the international superyacht family.
